Porsche India has announced today that Pavan Shetty has stepped down as Director. Effective from today (July 1, 2020), the statement says that Shetty has resigned due to personal reasons.
Until a new permanent head of Porsche India is assigned, Ashish Kaul - head of sales, will take over Shetty’s responsibilities, which include day-to-day operations of the brand in the country. Kaul will report directly to Gurpratap Boparai, managing director at Skoda Auto Volkswagen India.
Pavan Shetty was appointed Director at Porsche India back in January 2016 and has led the German sports car brand in our country since then. He’s previously headed Lamborghini’s India operations, and worked at Ford India and Tata Motors.
