Tata Motors has launched an updated line-up for its Indigo Manza saloon. The new line-up gets new nomenclature as well.
The base trim is now called the LS (formerly known as Aqua) and it comes with additional chrome bits on the interiors and new seat fabric.
The next variant is now called the LX (formerly known as Aura). In addition to the new updates seen on the base LS, the higher LX gets electrically operated AC controls as well. Engine choices include a 1.3-litre 90bhp diesel and 90bhp petrol. Buyers of the Manza LX can also opt for a touchscreen navigation system.
The Aura ABS variant is now called the VX; it has all the equipment available on the LX but also gets ABS.
The erstwhile top-end variant, Elan, is now the EX. The EX feature all the updates available on the lesser variants and it also comes with automatic climate control. Also standard on this trim are all-new eight-spoke alloy wheels. Buyers can also order the Manza EX with a contrasting shade on the roof of the car as well.
Tata will introduce a new top-end trim called the EXL. This variant gets features such as touchscreen navigation,tilt-steering, automatic climate control, ABS with EBD, eight-spoke alloy wheels, follow-me-home headlamps and premium leather seats.
Tata Motors claims a fuel efficiency figure of 21.02kpl for the diesel and 13.7kpl for the petrol powered car.
The updated Manza is priced at Rs 5.7 lakh for the base petrol and Rs 6.49 lakh for base diesel. The top-end diesel variant is priced at Rs 8.8 lakh. (ex-showroom, Delhi).
