As reported by us a few days ago, Honda is all set to introduce the updated Jazz in the Indian market. Dealer sources have now confirmed that the refreshed Jazz is likely to see a market launch on July 19, 2018, with bookings expected to open on July 15, 2018.
UPDATE: Updated India-spec Honda Jazz to get no styling changes
As of now, details known are limited, but the soon-to-launched Jazz is expected to come with minor exterior tweaks that'll make it look fresher. Features like ABS, EBD and reverse parking sensors are expected to be offered as standard across the range. On the inside, the car is likely to come with all-black interiors, and get minor design changes to the seat and door pad fabric as well. The big news, however, is that the updated Jazz will come with an updated infotainment system, likely to be Honda’s new Digipad 2.0 loaded with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto that'll be standard, at least on the top-spec model.
Honda, however, won't be offering a sunroof on the updated Jazz, and the magic seat option will be restricted to the top variant.
Under the hood, no changes are expected. This means the Jazz will soldier on with the 1.5-litre diesel and the 1.2-litre petrol engine. Key rivals to the Jazz include the Maruti Baleno and the Hyundai i20 that received a facelift earlier this year.
