Mini has launched the updated Countryman at Rs 36.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The updated car gets minor cosmetic changes inside and out and is available only with a diesel engine.
In terms of styling, the updated car gets a revised dual-slat grille, revised bumpers and side-skirts with silver faux skid-plates and new design 17-inch alloy wheels. LED daytime-running lamps, guidelamps and fog-lamps are on offer as options.
In the cabin, the large, centrally mounted dial has been tweaked and more chrome detailing has been added. There's also new options for upholstery, trims and colours.
Under the hood of the updated Countryman is a 110bhp 2.0-litre four-cylinder diesel engine developing 27.53kgm of torque between 1750 and 2250rpm mated to a six-speed automatic gearbox. The company claims that the updated Countryman can sprint from 0-100kph in 11.3 seconds with a top speed of 185kph.
The updated Mini also comes equipped with six airbags, ABS, stability control and traction control as standard.
The updated Countryman, like other Minis, is now imported into the country as a CBU and buyers can customise their cars with the list of add-on options provided by Mini.
