Discounts on Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Ciaz, S-Cross and Ignis

Nexa, Maruti Suzuki’s premium dealership chain, currently retails models like the Baleno, Ciaz, Ignis and S-Cross. For the month of May, all Nexa products are being offered with discounts of up to Rs 60,000, in a bid to boost sales. Find out how much you can save on the purchase of a brand-new Nexa car this month.

    Maruti Suzuki S-Cross

    Save up to Rs 60,000

Maruti’s most expensive model on sale, the S-Cross, is powered by a 90hp, 1.3-litre diesel engine that comes coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox and mild-hybrid technology. The Hyundai Creta rival is currently being offered with discounts of Rs 60,000 on all variants. The S-Cross is due for an update soon, with Maruti expected to introduce its in-house-developed 1.5-litre diesel and petrol engines in the SUV.

    Maruti Suzuki Ciaz

    Save up to Rs 55,000

The Maruti Suzuki Ciaz was the first model to receive the carmaker’s new 95hp 1.5-litre diesel engine, along with a new 6-speed manual gearbox. However, the new engine misses out on the mild-hybrid technology that features on the 90hp, 1.3-litre diesel that is still on sale at some locations. The petrol engine on offer is a 105hp, 1.5-litre unit with mild-hybrid technology that can be had with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox. The base and mid variants of the Ciaz (Sigma, Delta, Zeta) are being offered with a Rs 55,000 discount, while the top-spec Alpha trims, along with all variants of the Ciaz AT, have a discount of Rs 40,000.

    Maruti Suzuki Ignis

    Save up to Rs 37,500

The Ignis is the smallest offering from Nexa dealerships and is also one of its slowest-moving products. The petrol-only Ignis is powered by an 83hp, 1.2-litre engine that can be had with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. Presently, Nexa dealers are offering all variants of the Ignis with discounts of Rs 37,500 this month.

    Maruti Suzuki Baleno

    Save up to Rs 22,500

The Baleno is one of Maruti’s hottest selling products and it rivals the Hyundai i20 and the Honda Jazz in the premium hatchback segment. It’s powered by a 75hp, 1.3-litre diesel engine that comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. There are two petrols on offer – the 83hp, 1.2-litre K12B motor and the new 90hp, 1.2-litre K12C DualJet engine. Both petrol engines are BS-VI compliant and come coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, the older K12B engine gets the option of a CVT gearbox, while the new K12C engine gets mild-hybrid technology. Nexa dealers are offering the pre-facelift Baleno with discounts of Rs 22,500, while the facelifted models get discounts of Rs 17,500. However, it’s worth noting that the DualJet-powered Balenos do not come with these discounts.
