    New top-spec SUV comes with features like six airbags, 17-inch alloy wheels and more.

    Ford EcoSport Titanium+ petrol launched at Rs 10.47 lakh

    Ford has added a new top-spec variant to its EcoSport petrol line-up in the Indian market. The new 2018 Ford EcoSport Titanium+ petrol with a manual gearbox is priced at Rs 10.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

    The recently updated EcoSport SUV for India comes with a new 1.5-litre petrol ‘Dragon’ engine. The three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol mill produces 123hp at 6,500rpm and 150Nm at 4,500rpm, ,and is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. Ford also sells the same engine mated to a six-speed torque-convertor automatic equipped with paddle shifts.

    As far as equipment goes, the new 2018 Ford EcoSport Titanium+ petrol comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights, cruise control, Ford’s Sync3 infotainment system with reverse camera, voice commands, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Additional safety features include six airbags, ABS, EBD and Isofix anchors as well.

    The 2018 EcoSport takes on the likes of the popular Maruti Vitara Brezza and the Tata Nexon. It will soon see competition in the form of Mahindra’s sub-four-meter SUV that’s slated for launch later this year.
