Customers will be able to check if their vehicle is included in this recall by entering their cars’ 17-character alpha-numeric Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on a microsite, on Honda Car India’s website. Those who had the fuel pump used as a spare from an authorised Honda dealership between June 2017 and October 2023, can also verify their vehicle status through any Honda showroom.

Honda will conduct the replacements free of charge at authorised dealerships across India, starting November 5. The Japanese brand says that affected vehicle owners will be contacted individually.
