    Jeep has launched a special Anniversary Edition of the Compass at Rs 25.26 lakh, as it celebrates the SUV’s eighth anniversary in India. The limited-run model gets some visual enhancements and an exclusive set of accessories over the standard version, to set it apart. Bookings for the Compass Anniversary Edition are open online and at authorised dealerships.

    Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition: what’s new?

    The Compass Anniversary Edition gets a dual-tone decal on the bonnet as well as a Velvet Red embellishment on the sixth grille slot. On the inside, it gets Velvet Red seat covers, along with accessories such as an integrated dashcam and white ambient lighting. The Anniversary Edition is based on the Longitude (O) variant, which is priced at Rs 24.83 lakh for MT and Rs 26.83 lakh for AT, which means that the Anniversary Edition costs about Rs 43,000 higher.


    Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition: powertrain, specs

    Powering the Jeep Compass is a sole 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine making 170hp and 350Nm. The transmission options on offer include a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed AT. The SUV gets a front-wheel drive configuration as standard, while the top-end Model S (O) also gets an optional 4WD setup. While the Anniversary Edition gets both gearbox options, it is only available with the FWD configuration.

    Pricing for the regular Compass starts from Rs 18.99 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 32.41 lakh. It goes up against the Volkswagen Tiguan and Hyundai Tucson, while also facing competition from the Tata Harrier and Mahindra XUV700.
