Kia India has added the flagship EV6 to its lease program launched a few months ago. The car is available for lease starting at Rs 1.29 lakh per month.
    1. EV6 can now be leased without making any down payment
    2. Maintenance, insurance, RSA also covered in plan

Under this scheme, potential buyers can lease the vehicle without any down payment. Monthly charges cover insurance, maintenance, pick-up and drop facility for servicing, scheduled and unscheduled services, and 24x7 roadside assistance.

Kia says the program is only for doctors, chartered accountants, self-employed professionals, and select corporates. Lease terms range from 24 to 60 months, with multiple mileage options available.

    Kia EV6: price, rivals

The Kia EV6 comes in two variants: GT Line priced at Rs 60.97 lakh and GT Line AWD at Rs 65.97 lakh (ex-showroom). It competes with entry-level luxury electric SUVs such as the Mercedes EQA, BMW iX1, Volvo XC40 Recharge, and C40 Recharge. It also faces some competition from its cousin Hyundai Ioniq 5.

Kia recently recalled over 1,100 units of the EV6 due to a potential issue with the Integrated Charging Control Unit (ICCU), impacting the 12V auxiliary battery performance. The company says it will update the ICCU software in affected units to resolve the issue.
