BMW has revealed the Mini Pacman Adventure concept, a result of the design study headed by BMWs young apprentices. BMW apprentices were handed the task of coming up with their own concept car.
The Paceman is powered the same 181bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged engine as the Cooper S Paceman All4. The two-seat concept gives it the form of a pick up truck.
The rear seats have been removed in the concept, creating a vast cargo area for the new pickup concept. Extra space is also created because of a roof-mounted rack that carries the spare wheel.
The Mini pickup truck has been patched with a modified chassis with larger ground clearance, as well as higher clearance ramps front and rear, and a roof-level snorkel air intake to help it take on off-road routes. Extra lights and off-road tyres also feature. The concept is finished in bespoke green metallic paint.
BMW says the model is purely a concept, and there are no plans to put it into production.
