Skoda Enyaq SUV facelift debuted globally alongside the Enyaq coupe-SUV on Wednesday. The Enyaq now features Skoda’s Modern Solid design language, a longer range and improved aerodynamics. The Czech brand had also shared teasers ahead of the unveiling.

    1. Enyaq EV can be had with either a 59kWh or a 77kWh battery pack
    2. The drag coefficient has dropped to 0.245 for the SUV and 0.225 for the coupe-SUV
    3. Alloy wheels are available in sizes ranging from 19 to 21 inches
    4. The pre-facelift Enyaq will likely be present at the BMGE 2025

As part of its ‘Tech Deck’ face, there’s a new ‘SKODA’ lettering on the bonnet and a split design for the LED headlights. For daytime running lights, four segmented LEDs at either edge are connected by 23 individual LEDs, as seen in the teasers. These 23 lights sit on a sealed gloss-black panel, which houses the front camera below the DRL. The C-shaped tail-lights have also been refreshed.

The bumper’s lower section has been optimised for aerodynamics. Interestingly, Skoda has continued with the chrome skid plates, which were earlier expected to be replaced by plastic cladding.

The Enyaq coupe-SUV looks identical to its SUV sibling, save for its sloping rear silhouette, body-coloured side skirts and the alloy wheels’ design (19 to 21 inches). The Enyaq SUV’s drag coefficient has dropped to 0.245 from 0.264 and that of the coupe-SUV to 0.225 from 0.234.

The Enyaq’s steering wheel gets the same ‘SKODA’ lettering. Alongside the steering sits a central 13-inch infotainment display. A 5-inch digital driver’s display is standard, with an optional head-up display available. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable seats, heated front seats and a three-zone climate control. Skoda also claims to have used eco-friendly materials in the seat upholstery.

With the rear seats folded, luggage capacity increases from 585 to 1,710 litres in the Enyaq SUV and from 570 to 1,610 litres in its coupe-SUV counterpart.

While the Enyaq 85 model with a usable battery capacity of 77kWh offered up to 562km driving range on a single charge as per the WLTP cycle, the new version takes it up to 588km. In the coupe-SUV Enyaqs, the range has increased to 597km from 570km. The Enyaq SUV and coupe-SUV variants with the smaller 59kWh battery will offer a range of 431km and 439km, respectively. Meanwhile, the pre-facelift Enyaq will likely be present at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, which will be held from January 17 to 22.
