The Skoda Enyaq – available in both SUV and coupé forms – was seen in a teaser video by the Czech carmaker ahead of its official unveiling on January 8. This comes just days after Skoda released design sketches of the Enyaq electric SUV, featuring the new Modern Solid design language. However, interior details and technical specifications remain under wraps.
- The Enyaq is one of the bestselling EVs of 2024 in Europe
- Its launch is expected by mid-2025
- The pre-facelift Enyaq iV to be present at BMGE 2025

Skoda Enyaq's Tech Deck face
Skoda has given the Enyaq a new ‘Tech Deck’ face, consisting of split LED headlamps positioned on the bumper (like on the Elroq EV). For daytime running lights, four segmented LEDs at either edge are connected by 23 individual LEDs that simulate the slot-like grille look of an ICE car. These 23 lights sit on a blanked-off panel, verifying their EV credentials. This same panel also houses the front camera below the DRLs.
The winged-arrow Skoda logo is replaced by a new blacked-out ‘SKODA’ lettermark. The lower air intake of the bumper also gets a black finish. Interestingly, the alloy wheels still house the familiar logo we are accustomed to seeing. These darkened-out elements are part of the Enyaq Sportline Edition.
The latest video confirmed our report stating these updates will also be mirrored on the Enyaq coupé. Additionally, the previous design sketch of the Enyaq coupé SUV missed out on door handles, but they are back now. Other details like dark chrome accents, a sharp tear-off edge, and signature C-shaped tail-lights have been carried over. In the teaser, the Skoda Enyaq SUV wore its Velvet Red shade, while the coupé counterpart could be finished in either Race or Energy Blue.
Skoda Enyaq facelift India launch
Skoda has already confirmed that the Enyaq facelift, along with its coupé version, will debut sometime later in 2025. The pre-facelift Enyaq iV SUV might make a return at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, starting next week. Skoda India Brand Director Petr Janeba earlier stated that the Enyaq's launch in India was postponed due to the incoming facelift.
It has also been spied testing on our roads multiple times in the top-spec 80x trim. This variant has a 77kWh (net) battery with up to 513km of WLTP range. A combined output of 265hp is delivered to all four wheels via dual motors present on each axle. Skoda claims a 0-100kph sprint time of 6.9 seconds for this version.
