The Lotus Eletre is the first model from the historic British brand to be launched in India. However, unlike the lightweight, two-door sportscars that typify the marque, the Eletre is a full-size electric SUV. With up to 905hp and up to 600km of range, it is not short on performance, but at 2.6 tonnes, it’s also very heavy. It currently does not have any direct rivals, but goes up against petrol super-SUVs like the Lamborghini Urus and Aston Martin DBX 707.
