The EQA is an electric derivative of the GLA crossover, which is just as stylish and it also gets a high quality interior, and packs in a plethora of features. Self-driven folk will appreciate its compact size, and its performance is adequate. At 560 km, its claimed range also gives it an edge over rivals. That said, rivals are much quicker, and for the chauffeur-driven folk, its backseat experience is disappointing. Finally, at Rs 66 lakh (ex-showroom), it sits closer in price to the more powerful BMW iX1 (Rs 66.90 lakh) than the Volvo XC40 Recharge (Rs 55 lakh), so it does command quite a premium. However, being the most affordable EV to wear a three-pointed star on its nose, makes it reason enough for some to want one.
