The Magnite facelift gets some cosmetic tweaks on the outside and a new colourway inside the cabin, along with new features.

The Magnite was Nissan’s sole offering in India, until the arrival of the X-Trail, a few months ago. Positioned at the lower end of the compact segment, the Magnite has now received a mid-life facelift, retaining its affordability while bringing in some visual changes, along with a set of new features.
The updated Magnite retains its overall shape and styling, bringing some minor changes to make it look fresher. The Magnite facelift gets a wider and larger grille with more chrome and gloss-black elements, and it now merges with the headlamps. Additionally, the bumper features a more prominent faux skid plate with integrated fog lamps. The L-shaped LED DRLs on the bumper remain unchanged.
The side profile remains largely unchanged, but the 16-inch alloy wheels get a new design. At the rear, the tail lamps get a new LED signature, with intricate detailing.
Similar to the exterior, the cabin design has also been carried over. However, the all-black theme has been replaced with a black and copper theme. The previous black and silver finish on the steering wheel makes way for a full black unit. It also gets new textured panels on the door pads, dual-tone leatherette upholstery, and new four-colour ambient lighting on the dashboard and door pads.
Select variants get a larger 9-inch touchscreen, while others carry over the 8-inch unit seen on the outgoing model. The graphics for the 7-inch digital instrument cluster have also been redesigned. New features include auto headlamps, auto-dimming IRVM, type-C charging ports, and a new key fob with remote start. On the safety front, the car now gets six airbags, ESC, three-point seatbelts, and seatbelt reminders for all seats, as standard.
No changes have been made to the 72hp, 96Nm, 1.0-litre NA petrol and 100hp, 160Nm engine options which were on offer with the pre-facelift model. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard across both. The nat-asp engine gets an optional 5-speed AMT, while the turbo-petrol engine gets a CVT option, just like before. Nissan claims a fuel efficiency of 20kpl, with the manual and 17.4kpl for the CVT turbo variants.
The introductory prices for the Nissan Magnite facelift start from Rs 5.99 lakh, the same as the pre-facelift model. While the entry price remains unchanged, the prices of other variants have gone up, owing to the changes. The range-topping CVT variant, previously priced at Rs 11.11 lakh, now costs Rs 11.50 lakh.
