Triumph Daytona 660 details

The 660cc inline three-cylinder engine in the Daytona 660 will produce 95hp at 11,250rpm and 69Nm at 8,250rpm – 14hp and 5Nm more than its naked and adventure counterparts. Suspension duties are handled by Showa USD forks at the front and a Showa monoshock at the rear that allows preload adjustment. Braking is taken care of by twin 310mm discs at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear.

The Daytona 660 is equipped with a 14-litre fuel tank and has a wet weight of 201kg. Internationally, the Daytona 660 is priced slightly lower than the Tiger Sport 660. Upon launch it will rival the Kawasaki Ninja 650, Aprilia RS 660, and the upcoming Honda CBR650R and Suzuki GSX-8R.
