To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Scooty, TVS has launched the Pep+ in two new colour schemes. These new colours – red and gold – are available alongside the standard model’s brown, black, blue, purple and pink colour schemes.

The Scooty Pep+ SBT model in these new colours is priced at Rs 42,397 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the scooters come equipped with TVS’ version of combined braking tech called SBT (Synchronized Braking Technology) as standard. Along with the new colours, the scooters also feature a 25th anniversary logo on their aprons.

Other than this, the Scooty Pep+ remains mechanically identical to the current model. It features the same 87.8cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that develops 4.9hp and 5.8Nm of torque. The Pep+ also continues to remain one of the lightest scooters in India with a kerb weight of just 95kg. The light kerb weight along with the compact dimensions is exactly why the Scooty is still one of the top choices for learners.

The TVS Scooty has earned its place in the India Book of Records with Zest 110 becoming the first 110cc scooter to ride up Khardung La – one of the highest motorable roads in the world.
