Ampere announces Rs 10,000 price cut on select models

After the successful launch of its Nexus electric scooter, Ampere has decided to cut the prices of some of its older models to make them more accessible. The Rio Li Plus, Magnus LT and Magnus EX see a significant Rs 10,000 price cut.
 
The Magnus is available in two variants – LT and Magnus EX – that's now available for Rs 84,900 and Rs 94,900, respectively, after the price cut. It is equipped with a 60V/28Ah battery pack, has an ARAI-claimed range of 84km and a claimed top speed of 50kph.
 
Ampere has also slashed prices for the Rio Li Plus, which is now available for Rs 59,900 (ex-showroom). The Rio Li Plus is only available in one variant and it's primarily designed for low speeds and short distances within the city. It's equipped with a 1.3kWh lithium-ion battery, which is removable and offers a 70km range. The Rio Li Plus has a claimed top speed of 25kph and falls in the low-speed e-scooter category.
