Along with the launch of the SR 125, Aprilia has also unveiled a different variant based on it – the Storm 125. The scooter features 12-inch wheels, off-road tyres and bright colour schemes. Aprilia say the Storm 125 is designed for the youth and will come with a number of accessories.

The biggest difference in between the Storm 125 from the SR 125 lies in the wheels, where the Storm uses 12-inch ones instead of the 14-inch wheels seen on the SR. They are also of a completely different design. The Storm 125 also comes with Vee Rubber-branded off-road oriented tyres – 120/80 at the front and 130/80 at the rear – and is available in bright colour schemes of matte yellow and red. The scooter will also have many optional accessories, one of which is a large windscreen.

It uses the same 125cc engine as the SR 125, and produces 9.5hp at 7,250rpm and 9.9Nm of torque at 6,250rpm. The Storm 125 is also carburetted and is equipped with the same 6.5-litre fuel tank as the SR 125 and SR 150.
