Royal Enfield has released a new promotional video of the Himalayan 452, and based on its registration number, we did a quick dive that reveals a few more details about the bike.

    1. All-new 452cc engine makes 40hp
    2. Gets a USD fork, new digital display

At 196kg, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is 3kg lighter than the current Himalayan 411, and it makes 40hp, which is a big step up from the 411’s rather modest 24hp. This should definitely make it a quicker and faster machine than the current 411, although it can't match the KTM 390 Adventure’s 40hp/177kg figures.

What is also revealed is the name for this white colour option seen here, which is called 'Kamet White'. The name Kamet comes from the second-highest mountain in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand, after Nanda Devi.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will debut an all-new liquid-cooled engine and we’ve already heard what it sounds like. To hear this new engine, tap here. What it will also debut is a new single-pod instrument console, which is a stark departure from the Himalayan 411’s cluttered four-pod unit. To read more about the new dash, tap here
