Kinetic E-Luna to be updated soon

Affordable electric runabout priced from Rs 69,990

The E-Luna was launched in early 2024 as a modern iteration of the iconic Luna. Now, the company has patented a design that seems to be an updated model. The major difference between the outgoing model and the patented design is the hump in the central tunnel between the rider’s seat and the handlebar. The overall design remains identical to the outgoing model, with a round halogen headlight housed in a square box with an LCD speedometer.

It seems likely that the triangular protrusion is an additional storage unit being offered by Kinetic Green. This will potentially increase the practicality quotient of this machine, which is generally used to haul around goods and for deliveries.

This box could also be a removable unit, which can be detached and carried around. Another change is the presence of alloy wheels, which enables it to have tubeless wheels compared to the spoke wheels on the outgoing model. There is also the possibility of the company offering an additional removable battery pack on the E-Luna, but that isn’t a strong possibility since adding this will drive up the cost a fair bit.

Currently, the Kinetic E-Luna is available in two major variants: the E-Luna X2 and X3. The former comes with a 2kWh battery pack, while the latter comes with a 2.3kWh battery pack. It is priced from Rs 69,990 to Rs 82,490. It remains to be seen when Kinetic Green will launch this updated E-Luna.

    All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
