I am planning to buy my first bike with a budget of 2-2.5 lakh. I test rode the CB350RS, Meteor and Guerrilla 450. I didn’t find the CB350RS comfortable, the Meteor felt good but lacked highway power, and the Guerrilla 450 is over budget. I want a bike with a non-aggressive riding position and good comfort on highways and potholes. Please suggest suitable options.
Since this is your first bike, starting small and approachable would be the smart way to go about it. In that same vein, we would recommend the new Yamaha XSR155 because it is a light, comfortable, fuel-efficient machine that's also reasonably exciting to use.
If you want a larger machine, then bikes like the Honda CB300F, Bajaj Pulsar N250 and Suzuki Gixxer 250 would be good options.

Since you have had such a nice experience with your Honda Activa, you can look at the latest Activa 110cc and Activa 125cc variants of the scooter, which will carry forward the same sort of experience your current scooter delivers, with added features.
If you want to look elsewhere, the TVS Jupiter models and the Suzuki Access are our current favourites in the scooter class. If you would like something that's flashier in terms of looks and has slightly more performance without sacrificing practicality and comfort, the TVS Ntorq is a good option.

Since you have had a good experience with a Honda machine, you could stick with the brand and go with the Honda CB300F. The CB300F is light, comfortable, spacious and will return decent fuel economy. If you want to switch brands, the Bajaj Pulsar N250 and the Suzuki Gixxer 250 make for good upgrade options with their smooth engines and comfortable ergonomics.
If you don't mind staying in the same displacement range while getting a significant performance bump, the KTM 160 Duke and Yamaha MT-15 warrant consideration. With their liquid-cooled engines and light weights, these two will give you the performance step up you want without sacrificing on mileage.

The Triumph Speed T4 is an excellent city machine, and you can also cruise on the highway at 100-110kph comfortably. It offers decent suspension comfort and will be a good fit for a one-bike garage.
The Suzuki V-Strom SX will have more spacious ergonomics and better wind protection on the highway, but its smaller engine will also limit your comfortable cruising speed to 90-100kph. On the other hand, it will also deliver improved fuel economy in the city.
What is the best 125 cc or electric scooter to buy for a daily office commute on heavily undulating (hilly/rough) roads?
From a comfort point of view, the Bajaj Chetak models or TVS iQube range will serve your purpose well from the sea of electric scooters available.
In the 125cc space, the most comfortable options are the TVS Jupiter 125, Honda Activa 125 and the latest Suzuki Access. Even the TVS Ntorq 125 is a good option if you want a sporty offering with peppy performance.
