Some of the other carmakers to offer such extensions in India, include Volkswagen, Mercedes-BenzAudiRenault, TataMaruti Suzuki, and Toyota.

  • Mahindra will offer a two-month extension warranty or service period
  • Customers with warranty or free service expiring in April -May will be eligible

Mahindra warranty, service period extension details

Any Mahindra model that has its warranty or free service period expiring between April 1 and May 31, 2021, will receive an extension of two months from the carmaker. What this means is that customers that fall into this category, now have until July 31, 2021 to redeem these services. This will also mean that the period in which a customer can purchase extended warranty for their vehicle will also be increased.

Since the onset of the pandemic, Mahindra has undertaken multiple different initiatives to help those affected by COVID-19. These include initiatives like assembling face shields /masks, deploying its tractors for sanitisation, manufacturing the coronavirus-combating aerosol box, offering free cab services for emergency services or most recently providing oxygen to hospitals in need with its Oxygen on Wheels programme.
