The Hyundai Venue with sunroof has become even more accessible thanks to the new Venue S+ entry-level variant priced at Rs 9.35 lakh (ex-showroom). Hyundai’s compact SUV has been facing stiff competition from newly launched contenders such as the Mahindra XUV 3XO and the facelifted Tata Nexon. The Korean brand has been constantly updating the Venue’s variant line-up and features to keep it competitive. Just two weeks ago, Hyundai introduced the Venue S(O) variant.

    1. Venue S+ aimed at sunroof-equipped entry-level XUV 3XO, Nexon
    2. Gets a single 1.2-litre NA petrol engine option
    3. Equipped with 8-inch infotainment as standard

Hyundai Venue S+: what all does it get?

The Venue S+ sits below the recently launched S(O) variant and comes with a single powertrain option: a 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 82hp, mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. At Rs 9.35 lakh, the Venue S+ is the most affordable variant to be equipped with a sunroof. Additional features include a digital infotainment cluster and an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also has rear AC vents, TPMS and automatic headlamps, among other features.

The Venue S+ is slightly more expensive than the XUV 3XO MX2 Pro (Rs 8.99 lakh), which gets a sunroof but comes with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine instead of a naturally aspirated unit on the Venue. The entry-level Nexon Smart+ S 1.2 petrol is priced at Rs 9.40 lakh (ex-showroom).
