Nissan will introduce an all-new B-MPV in the coming months. Likely to be called the Nissan Gravite, the Nissan B-MPV will have seven seats, and it will be based on the Renault Triber. It will be built alongside the Triber at Renault Nissan’s Chennai plant and will initially be aimed at the domestic market. The Nissan B-MPV will compete not just with the Triber but also with the popular Maruti Eeco, as all three models will be under four meters long and come with three rows of seats. The Nissan B-MPV will come with a 1.0-litre petrol engine and could also get the more expensive 1.0-litre turbo petrol option, at least for the higher variants. Both engines are currently seen on duty on the Nissan Magnite SUV. The Nissan B-MPV will have a decent safety feature list, including multiple airbags. Also, the Nissan B-MPV will have multiple AC vents, a touchscreen infotainment system, and a digital instrument cluster, and it could even get LED lights on higher variants.
