Hyundai Eon gets touchscreen infotainment

Hyundai has added a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system to its entry-level model, the 800cc Eon hatchback. The Hyundai Eon has been on sale since quite a bit and was in dire need of an update. The slow-selling Eon rivals the likes of the Alto 800, and the popular Renault Kwid.  

We had reported some time back that Hyundai will spruce up the Eon with more features like touchscreen infotainment in order to make it more competitive with the current bestseller Kwid which gets a similar feature on the top-spec trim. The touchscreen infotainment is now a standard fitment in all 800cc Eon Era Plus and Magna Plus models. The more powerful Eon 1.0 does not get this addition.

Apart from the touchscreen, the Eon Sports edition gets side body mouldings and roof rails as additional equipment.

Hyundai Eon Era Plus: Rs 3.88 lakh
Hyundai Eon Magna Plus: Rs 4.14 lakh
