Zontes India line-up: pricing and rivals
The most affordable Zontes offering in India is the 350R naked bike, with prices ranging from Rs 3.15 lakh-3.25 lakh. Next up is the 350X sport tourer, priced from Rs 3.35 lakh-3.45 lakh. The GK350 cafe racer and the 350T road-biased tourer are both priced identically between Rs 3.37 lakh and Rs 3.47 lakh. The flagship of the Zontes line-up, the 350T ADV adventure bike is priced from Rs 3.57 lakh-3.67 lakh. One thing to note here is that the prices vary depending on the colour chosen for these bikes.
Rivalling the Zontes bikes are the 390 and 310 trio from KTM and BMW, respectively, and even the 650 twins from Royal Enfield. All of these more established, and in the case of the KTM and Royal Enfield, more powerful bikes are priced significantly lower than the Zontes offerings. In the brief amount of time we spent with two of their bikes, we found them to be tech-laden but they lacked refinement. The fact still remains that Zontes has yet to prove itself in the Indian market with regards to reliability and aftersales service.
