Seeing as the riding season in Ladakh is on in full swing, Jawa-Yezdi motorcycles have rolled out a new service initiative for riders making the journey to the union territory in North India. Dubbed “Service is on us”, this new initiative will offer free service assistance to riders on their way to Ladakh from different parts of the country.

Jawa-Yezdi’s ‘Service is on us’ initiative: what it’s about

Under the “Service is on us” initiative, Jawa-Yezdi service centres located in major cities along the route to Ladakh will provide necessary service support to the riders. Labour charges for service and running repairs will be free of charge and customers can also avail a complementary 26-point general check-up at the Leh service station. An expert technician will also be located at Leh, equipped with essential tools and spares. Furthermore, roadside assistance policy holders will be eligible for breakdown assistance as per the policy guidelines. People without the roadside assistance policy will also be able to avail this service for a certain fee.

The initiative will provide service coverage to riders setting out from different parts of the country, before merging in the NCR region to take the two most popular routes to Ladakh; one via Chandigarh and Manali and the other via Jammu, Srinagar and Kargil.

Riders setting off from Delhi can make use of the service centres in Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon, Faridabad, Ambala, Karnal, Chandigarh, Mandi, Hoshiyarpur, Pathankot, Jammu and Srinagar. Meanwhile riders starting from Kolkata can utilise the service centres located in Dhanbad, Arrah, Patna, Lucknow and Agra.

For riders coming from Mumbai, service centres in Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Udaipur, Ajmer and Jaipur will be available for assistance. Finally, riders setting off from Bangalore can use the service centres in Hyderabad, Nagpur, Gwalior, Bhopal, Jhansi and Agra.

However, the company has not specified for how long this service initiative will be operational.
