TVS hikes prices of 5 models in August 2020

    Prices of the Apache RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 160 4V, RTR 200 4V and Ntorq have been hiked by around Rs 1,000.

    TVS hikes prices of 5 models in August 2020

    TVS has hiked prices for multiple models in its line-up by around Rs 1,000. These models include the Apache RTR 160, RTR 180, RTR 160 4V, RTR 200 4V and the Ntorq. Following is the list that compares the new prices to those before the hike:

    The price hike has not brought with it any changes or updates to any of the mentioned models. Currently, prices for the rest of TVS’ two-wheeler line-up, which includes the Victor, Radeon, Sport, Star City +, Scooty Pep, Zest 110, XL 100 and Jupiter, remains the same. The Jupiter, however, did receive a price hike late last month.  

    July was a positive month for TVS, in terms of sales. The manufacturer reported dispatches of 2,43,788 units in July 2020 – a 17 percent increase from the 2,08,489 units in July 2019. Importantly, it is a 68 percent month-on-month increase over June 2020’s sales of 1,44,817 units.
