TVS says that it has noticed a shift in customer preferences towards minimalist and modern designs, which has led to the introduction of the new colour schemes on the popular Ntorq 125.

    2. No mechanical changes

The TVS Ntorq 125 range is now available in four new colours – Turquoise, Harlequin Blue, Nardo Grey and Matte Black. However, the Matte Black is a special edition colour that's only available with the range-topping Ntorq Race XP. The company had sent out a teaser for this just last week.

TVS currently sells five versions of the Ntorq with the other three – Race Edition, Super Squad and XT – continuing with their existing colour options.

The TVS Ntorq is one of the more sporty and youthful options in the 125cc space, and is the second most popular scooter in the company’s line-up, after the Jupiter. The Ntorq uses a 3-valve 124.8cc engine that produces 9.5hp and 10.6Nm. The Race XP gets a small increase in performance figures – 10.2hp and 10.9Nm.

The base model gets features like an LCD display with limited Bluetooth connectivity. The Race XP adds more Bluetooth functionality and also has two riding modes. The range-topping Race XT version comes with a TFT display.

Prices start at Rs 89,641 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and go up Rs 1.05 lakh for the Race XT.
