BMW India has extended the 6 Series Gran Turismo range with the addition of the top-spec 620d M Sport Signature variant priced at Rs 78.90 lakh. This makes it Rs 3.4 lakh costlier than the regular 6 Series GT M Sport.

BMW 620d M Sport Signature exterior, interior
Visually, the M Sport Signature trim isn’t significantly different from the M Sport trim. The biggest changes include soft-close doors, front ‘Comfort Seats’ with full-electric adjustment, memory function and lumbar support, as well as special backrest cushions for the rear seats. The Comfort Seats are lapped in Dakota leather with exclusive stitching and contrast piping in black.
BMW 620d M Sport Signature features
The equipment list includes a BMW Display key with Remote Control Parking, keyless entry, automatic locking, powered tailgate and Rear Seat Entertainment Professional comprising two 10.25-inch screens. Other features include a four-zone climate control, Harman Kardon 16-speaker sound system, two-part panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, electrically adjustable sunblinds and more.
Safety on the 6 Series GT M Sport Signature comprises of six airbags, ABS with EBD, Dynamic Stability Control, Dynamic Traction Control, Electronic Differential Lock Control, Cornering Brake Control, ISOFIX child seat anchors and more.
BMW 620d M Sport Signature powertrain
The 620d M Sport Signature makes use of the same 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel engine as the other 6 Series GT variants, which puts out 190hp and 400Nm, and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. BMW says that the 6 Series GT can accelerate from 0-100kph in 7.9 seconds.
BMW 6 Series GT price, rivals
The BMW 6 Series GT is now priced from Rs 73.50 lakh-76.90 lakh for the petrol variants, and Rs 75.50 lakh-78.90 lakh for the diesel variants. It continues to rival the Mercedes-Benz E-Class and the Audi A6 in India.
