The mass-market sedan segment has been shrinking over the years, thanks to buyers switching to SUVs. However, there are some promising products in this space from brands like Honda, Volkswagen and Hyundai. We have shortlisted five of the biggest discounts currently on offer on these sedans.

Hyundai Aura

Save up to Rs 48,000

Hyundai’s entry-level sedan, the Aura, is available with offers of up to Rs 48,000. It has been a popular choice for most buyers looking for a compact sedan. The Aura competes with the Honda Amaze and Maruti Dzire, and comes with a 1.2-litre engine that runs on both petrol and CNG.

Hyundai Verna

Save up to Rs 50,000

The current-gen Hyundai Verna gets discounts and benefits in the range of Rs 50,000 this festive season. It is one of the newest models in the segment, and comes with futuristic looks and tech – like ADAS on higher variants. It comes with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol or a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine.

Honda Amaze

Save up to Rs 1.12 lakh

The Amaze is offered with whopping discounts of up to Rs 1.12 lakh. It comes with a refined 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to either a manual or a CVT automatic. The Amaze is big on space and features, and an all-new model could debut by the end of the year.

Honda City

Save up to Rs 1.14 lakh

The popular Honda City has discounts and benefits up to Rs 1.14 lakh. It competes with the Verna, Virtus and Slavia, and has a refined petrol engine, feature-laden cabin and a plush ride.

Volkswagen Virtus

Save up to Rs 1.2 lakh

The stylish Virtus gets discounts and benefits of up to Rs 1.2 lakh. It comes with either a 1.0 or a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, and has an upmarket cabin with a decent features list. It does miss out on ADAS though.
