    Ford EcoSport gets more features, prices hiked

    The refreshed Ford EcoSport, which was launched just five months ago, has received an update to its equipment list, especially for the lower variants. 

    The EcoSport now comes with rear parking sensors, speed-sensing auto door locks and a passenger seatbelt reminder as standard across all trims. The Trend variant gets the addition of a standard reverse camera as well. Also standard on all variants, except the base Ambiente, is the 8.0-inch infotainment system.

    Ford, however, will offer ambient lighting and the MyKey function only on the top-spec EcoSport Titanium+ variant. Earlier, the features were available on the Titanium trim as well.

    Under the hood, there are no changes. This means the EcoSport continues to be powered by the 99hp, 1.5-litre, three-cylinder Dragon petrol and the 121hp, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine.

    Along with the feature update, Ford has also marginally bumped up the prices of the EcoSport. The new prices are as follows:
