Cricket World Cup-winning former India captain and fast bowler Kapil Dev took delivery of the first-ever Panamera diesel in the country on Friday. He received the keys from Anil Reddi, director, Porsche India.

“I am thrilled to take delivery of my Porsche Panamera and can’t wait to get behind the wheel. This car has a unique personality combining sportiness, luxury and efficiency in one,” said the cricketer, adding, “I am sure it will be an absolute joy to drive on a daily basis.”

The luxury grand tourer is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 diesel and can go from 0-100kph in 6.8sec. It gets an auto start/stop fuel-saving feature and has a claimed range of 1,200km.
