Ford has launched the second-generation Endeavour SUV in India. The SUV is available in two trim levels – Trend and Titanium – with a choice of two engines and gearboxes along with the option of all-wheel drive.

Engine options for the new Endeavour will include a 158bhp, 2.2-litre four-cylinder and a 197bhp, 3.2-litre five-cylinder diesel engine. The 2.2-litre unit will be paired to a choice of a six-speed manual or automatic gearbox while the larger 3.2-litre motor will be paired with the six-speed automatic gearbox only. While cars with the smaller engine will have four-wheel drive offered as an option, cars with the larger engine will get it as standard.

In terms of standard features, the Endeavour comes equipped with dual airbags, ABS, traction control, hill-start assist, Ford MyKey, eight-way power adjustable front seats, Ford SYNC infotainment system with touchscreen and voice control, CD/MP3 player, Bluetooth and aux connectivity with steering-mounted controls, dual-zone climate control, rear parking sensors, powered tail-gate and cruise control.

The all-wheel-drive model, in addition, offers hill descent control and Ford’s Terrain Management System. The top-spec Titanium model will have features such as seven airbags, automatic headlamps, LED daytime-running lamps, LED tail-lamps, ambient lighting, front parking sensors and tyre pressure monitoring system.

All models get a seven-seat layout with split folding second and third rows along with reclining and sliding functions for the second row.

The Endeavor is offered with six colour options – Sunset Red, Diamond White, Golden Bronze, Moondust Silver, Panther Black and Smoke Grey.
