Porsche is recalling 205 units of the 918 Spyder to replace its chassis components. This recall is on a global scale.

The reason for the recall is that some vehicles that were manufactured in a certain time period, used parts whose functionality cannot be permanently guaranteed. Although no complaints have been received yet, Porsche is conducting this recall as a precautionary measure.

The problem was identified during in-house quality inspections. Porsche representatives have started contacting 918 owners. Porsche has said that they can take appointments to visit the workshops to get the necessary repairs. This process will start in 2015.
