    Porsche Panamera GTS: what’s new?

While the standard Panamera gets a V6, the Panamera GTS makes use of a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 that puts out 500hp – 20hp more than the previous Panamera GTS. The car can sprint from 0-100kph in 3.8 seconds before hitting a top speed of 302kph. The PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) has been tuned to support the GTS’ sporty intentions. It is lowered by 10mm as compared to the standard Panamera, and it also gets reinforced anti-roll bars for a lower basic spring rate, thereby ensuring greater body stability.

Styling changes over the regular Panamera include black GTS logos on the sides and rear, a unique front section, dark-tinted HD matrix LED headlamps and tail-lamps, as well as red brake calipers. The standard Sport package brings in satin matte-black finish on the side skirts, insets in the front area, side window trim, and on the rear bumper. The tailpipes are finished in a contrasting Dark Bronze shade. The Panamera GTS is fitted with 21-inch Turbo S centre-lock wheels in Anthracite Grey.

On the inside, it gets Porsche’s Race-Tex suede-like material for the roof lining, armrests, door panels and centre panels of the seats. Porsche is also offering two GTS-exclusive interior packages in Carmine Red or Slate Grey Neo, along with a Carbon matt interior package.

Porsche says that deliveries for the Panamera GTS in its home country will begin in a few months, with India deliveries set to commence by the end of this year or maybe even in 2025. The GTS will be the most powerful Panamera model in the country as the Turbo models, being hybrids, won’t make it here.
