Bikes with ABS: Bajaj Pulsar, TVS Apache, Yamaha FZ, Honda Unicorn

Anti-lock braking system or ABS is a safety feature that can prove to be invaluable on our treacherous roads. Without further ado then, here are the ten most affordable motorcycles in the country that come with ABS. It bears mentioning that all the bikes on this list have single-channel ABS only.

    Bajaj Pulsar N150

Kicking things off is the Pulsar N150, one of the most recent additions to Bajaj’s ever-growing Pulsar lineup. At Rs 1,24,730, the Pulsar N150 is the most expensive bike on this list, which should give you an idea of how affordable the other options are.

    Yamaha FZS Fi

The original FZ16 cemented Yamaha’s reputation in India and even today the FZ range of models are strong sellers for the brand. The FZS Fi, at Rs 1,21,900, is based on the FZ V3 and still uses the older design.

    TVS Apache RTR 160 2V

Just like the aforementioned FZ did for Yamaha, the Apache RTR 160 2V has been responsible for establishing TVS’ reputation in India. The 2V model has been updated incrementally through the years and despite newer machines available from TVS, this one remains a strong-seller. The base variant of the Apache RTR 160 2V will cost you Rs 1,20,420, earning it a spot on this list.

    Honda SP160

Honda recently launched the SP160, which uses the fundamentals of the Unicorn, draped in styling resembling that of the smaller SP125. Priced at Rs 1,18,951, the entry-level single disc variant of the SP160 has a spot on this list.

    Yamaha FZ Fi

The most affordable way to get yourself a Yamaha FZ today is by shelling out Rs 1,16,500 for the entry-level FZ Fi. The engine and underpinnings on this bike are similar to the rest of the range, but it gets fewer features.

    Honda Unicorn

One of the most successful models for Honda in India, the Unicorn (priced at Rs 1,11,601), misses out on fourth place to the Xtreme 160R 2V by less than Rs 500. Despite having basically the same design as it did all those years ago, its massive brand recall helps the Unicorn sell like droves even today.

    Hero Xtreme 160R 2V

The base 2V Hero Xtreme, at Rs 1,11,111, also finds a spot on this list. The Xtreme 160R has always been a light, nimble, frugal and affordable model, which has worked in its favour.

    Bajaj Pulsar 150

The original Bajaj Pulsar 150 is still going strong more than two decades later and finds a spot on this list at Rs 1,10,419. Despite the newer Pulsar NS and N models, the original Pulsar shape continues to find takers due to its established identity.

    Hero Xtreme 125R

At Rs 99,500, the smallest Xtreme from Hero manages to just sneak in under the Rs 1 lakh mark. The Xtreme 125R is the only Indian 125cc bike in the country to offer ABS and despite having been on sale for just a few months, it has already proved to be quite popular.

    Bajaj Platina 110 ABS

The humble but hardy Platina is the only 110cc bike on this list, and is the most affordable bike in India to come with ABS. At Rs 80,774, it is nearly twenty thousand rupees more affordable than the next bike here.
