The Range Rover Evoque is the entry-level model of Land Rover’s luxury sub-brand. The current-gen Evoque was launched in India back in 2020 and Land Rover has updated the SUV over the years, with the facelift launching in 2024. If you’re interested in bringing home a Range Rover Evoque, we’ve addressed a host of commonly asked questions surrounding the compact luxury SUV.

What is the Range Rover Evoque price in India?

Rs 69.50 lakh for both petrol and diesel variants.

Range Rover Evoque: FAQs on price, features, off road tech

The Range Rover Evoque price is Rs 69.50 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s assembled as a CKD (completely knocked down) model in India, and this price tag is the same for the petrol and diesel variants. It’s worth noting that the Evoque facelift was launched here in January 2024 at a slightly cheaper price, but Land Rover hiked it by Rs 1.6 lakh following the SUV's most recent model year update.

More expensive than rivals.

Depending on the city of registration, the Range Rover Evoque on-road price should be in the Rs 80.43 lakh-83.90 lakh range. Compared to rivals like the BMW X1 (Rs 50.80 lakh-54.30 lakh), Mercedes-Benz GLA (Rs 51.50 lakh-56.50 lakh), and Audi Q3 (Rs 45.24 lakh-55.64 lakh), the Range Rover Evoque is on the pricier side.

Which Range Rover Evoque variants are available in India?

Only one trim level on offer.

The Range Rover Evoque is available in a sole Autobiography trim level in India, with a 2.0-litre petrol or diesel engine – both mated to a 48V mild hybrid system and a 9-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The petrol develops 250hp and 365Nm, while the diesel churns out 204hp and 430Nm.

Is the Range Rover Evoque 4x4?

AWD is standard, along with loads of off-road features.

The Range Rover Evoque comes with 4x4 as standard, enabling decent off-road capabilities for the compact luxury SUV. Complementing the 4x4 system is a plethora of features to help the baby Range Rover off-road, such as electronically controlled dampers, All Terrain Progress Control (low-speed cruise control for slippery surfaces), Terrain Response 2 (automatically adjusts vehicle settings to perform optimally on any terrain), six terrain modes (Auto, General Driving, Rock Crawl, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts and Sand), low-traction launch control, and more.

What does the Range Rover Evoque feature list look like?

Gets ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, panoramic sunroof, and lots more.

Land Rover sells the Evoque with a long list of standard features in India, with the most notable ones being heated and cooled front seats, heated rear seats, dual-zone climate control, Windsor leather upholstery, customisable ambient lighting, a digital IRVM, powered tailgate, a 360-degree camera, a wireless charger, 14-way electrically adjustable driver’s seat with memory function, digital driver’s display, and a 11.4-inch curved infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The 2025 model year update for the Evoque further bolstered the standard equipment list with pixel LED headlights, a panoramic sunroof, a 14-speaker Meridian sound system with a subwoofer, an electrically adjustable steering column, and more.

Is the Range Rover Evoque a 7 seater?

Cabin isn’t very spacious.

Range Rover Evoque: FAQs on price, features, off road tech

The Evoque is strictly a 5-seater, and in our review of the compact luxury SUV, we found that space in the rear is rather sparse. This is largely due to the Evoque’s narrow cabin and limited visibility out of the windows due to the chunky C-pillars, which means that seating even three occupants abreast on the rear bench can be a bit of a squeeze. The X1 and GLA have longer wheelbases than the Evoque, and therefore offer greater space for rear passengers.

What is the mileage of Range Rover Evoque?

Up to 18.75kpl for diesel, 13.94kpl for petrol.

Range Rover Evoque: FAQs on price, features, off road tech

WLTP-certified fuel efficiency figures for the Evoque stand at 17.39-18.75kpl for the diesel engine, while the petrol motor delivers 12.92-13.94kpl. Since WLTP testing cycles are generally longer and more varied, the above figures should be fairly indicative of the Evoque’s real-world mileage.

All prices ex-showroom, India.
