Triumph Motorcycle has announced that Ashish Joshi, managing director for Triumph Motorcycle’s India operations, has parted ways with the company on mutual consent.

To ensure that Triumph’s India plans continue according to plan, the set-up and operations will now be handled and overseen by Paul Stroud, director sales and marketing, and Steve Sargent, director of emerging markets and overall product strategy.

The Triumph brand, which made its debut at the 2012 Auto Expo, will enter the Indian market later this year with a range of large capacity motorcycles. It plans to hit the market by October 2012, with three to four dealerships already in place. Triumph will also look to set-up at least 10-12 dealerships within the next three years.
