Recently resurrected iconic motorcycle brand Jawa will display the Jawa and the Jawa Forty Two at the ongoing Autocar show 2018 in Mumbai, today onwards. Last month, these two motorcycles were launched in India, along with the upcoming 2019 Jawa Perak. While Jawa dealerships are in process of starting operations, prospective customers and Jawa enthusiasts will get to see the bikes at the event today, and through the weekend.

Jawa has re-entered the Indian market with three motorcycles – the Jawa, the Forty Two, and the Perak. The Jawa, priced at Rs 1.64 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and the Forty Two, costing Rs 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) are mechanically identical but differ from each other in trim and colour.

The bobber-styled Perak is only expected to go on sale in the second half of 2019 with a price tag of Rs 1.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and featuring a 334cc motor, which is a revised, more powerful version of the 293cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor seen on the Jawa and the Jawa Forty Two.
