Chinese manufacturer QJMotor has announced new pricing for nearly its entire Indian lineup, with the biggest price cut being a substantial Rs 40,000.

    1. SRC 250, SRC 500, SRV 300 prices come down
    2. SRK 400 still costs the same as before

The smallest QJ offering in India, the SRC 250, has received a Rs 31,000 price cut, bringing its new price down to Rs 1.79 lakh. This puts the little twin-cylinder retro right in the crosshairs of the top variants of the popular Royal Enfield Hunter 350

The other retro in QJ’s lineup, the SRC 500, has had its price cut down by a substantial Rs 40,000, which means it now costs Rs 2.39 lakh. At its current price, the big Chinese thumper is now positioned a little above the Royal Enfield Meteor and on par with the KTM 250 Duke

The other QJ model to receive a Rs 40,000 price cut is the SRV 300 cruiser, which is now priced at Rs 3.19 lakh. That puts this little V-twin cruiser nearly on par with the alloy wheel variant of the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. Unlike earlier, when certain colours would cost more than others on all models, now all colour options cost the same in QJ’s Indian lineup.

For those of you who were wondering whether the SRK 400’s price has also been revised, that is not the case. The bike still retails at its Rs 3.69 lakh sticker price, which is much higher than the segment benchmark – KTM 390 Duke (Rs 3.11 lakh)

All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, India.
