Despatches of the hugely impressive Triumph Speed 400 have begun from Bajaj’s Chakan-2 manufacturing plant, with dealer sources telling us that deliveries are most likely to begin from August 1.
Just a few days after bookings for both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X were opened, the company confirmed that they had received over 10,000 bookings, split between the two bikes. Currently, the company has only launched the Speed 400 in India, with the Scrambler 400 X slated to launch in October.
We have also managed to get our hands on the on-road prices of the Speed 400 in most major cities of India, and to read more about that, click here. Both the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X are available with a bunch of official accessories, ranging from aesthetic to functional and you can read about that here.
Since the Speed 400 is priced very close to the RE Classic 350 and has a similar form factor as the popular Hunter 350, we pitted the three against each other in the real world and you can watch our video comparison here.
And since the Speed 400 is very closely specced to the KTM 390 Duke, we also have a comparison video of the two, which can be viewed here.
