Triumph has updated its most affordable modern classic, the Speed T4, for 2025. It remains mechanically unchanged but features four new colours with refreshed graphics.

  1. Speed T4 features refreshed graphics, too
  2. Its price now starts at Rs 1.99 lakh

2025 Triumph Speed T4: What’s new?

The 2025 Triumph Speed T4 gets four new dual-tone colours – blue with metallic white, red with metallic white, black with metallic white and black with grey. These dual-tone colours are divided via a diagonal slash across the tank, lending it an understated look.

This is a major departure from the earlier tank graphics that featured a large ‘400’ lettering with a prominent Triumph logo flanked on both sides. It also features a 3D Speed T4 emblem on its side panel. Another high-quality touch is the brushed aluminium exhaust compared to the black powder-coated one earlier.

At its launch, the Speed T4 was priced at Rs 2.17 lakh, putting it just Rs 23,000 below the more powerful and feature-rich Speed 400. We had reported that Triumph had recently slashed its price by Rs 18,000 as part of its year-end discount, bringing down the price to Rs 1.99 lakh. Triumph has now made this price permanent.

The Speed T4 shares its engine with the Speed 400, albeit in a lower state of tune. The bike produces 31hp and 36Nm from the 398cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. Also, the Speed T4 misses features such as an electronic throttle, traction control, an immobiliser and the golden upside-down fork.

The Triumph Speed T4 rivals the Bajaj Pulsar NS400Z, TVS Apache RTR 310, Hero Mavrick 440 and Royal Enfield Hunter 350. We had previously conducted a performance comparison between the Speed T4 and Pulsar NS400Z. With the recent price cut, these two models are now more closely stacked than ever.
