Triumph Speed T4 priced at Rs 1.99 lakh now, features, colours

Bajaj Auto has now officially revised the prices of the Triumph Speed T4 to Rs 1.99 lakh, just six months after its launch. The Speed T4 is a more affordable, India-centric version of the Speed 400 with fewer features.

  1. Speed T4 is the more budget-friendly version of the Speed 400
  2. Its new price is Rs 18,000 lower than before

The Speed T4 is based on the same platform as the Speed 400, but it has been set up to have a more relaxing riding experience in typical Indian traffic conditions. While the Speed T4 has a lower peak output than the Speed 400, it is delivered much lower in the rev range. To achieve the lower price point, the Speed T4 also forgoes some features like an electronic throttle, traction control, an immobiliser and the golden upside-down fork.

At its launch, the Speed T4 was priced at Rs 2.17 lakh, putting it just Rs 23,000 below the more powerful and feature-rich Speed 400. Subsequently, the bike was offered with a Rs 18,000 discount, bringing its effective price down to Rs 1.99 lakh. Now, the Rs 1.99 lakh price tag has become permanent, and the Triumph India website has been updated to reflect this.
