Having launched the C3 Aircross automatic, with introductory prices starting at Rs 12.85 lakh and going up to Rs 13.85 lakh, Citroen has also revealed the ARAI fuel-efficiency figure for the model. Powered by the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine as the standard SUV, the automatic C3 Aircross gets the same 110hp, but 15Nm of torque more at 205Nm. In addition, this engine-gearbox combination is rated at 17.6kpl by ARAI.

Interestingly, the Skoda Kushaq and Volkswagen Taigun use the same Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic gearbox with their respective 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engines, and they are also more efficient than the C3 Aircross. However, the C3 Aircross automatic goes further on a litre of petrol than the Honda Elevate, with its 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine and CVT gearbox.
