Ford India introduces service cost calculator

If you are the owner of any Ford vehicle in India and are confused about the cost you might incur on your next service, Ford might have something interesting for you.

In a bid to make cost of service and car maintenance more transparent, Ford India today rolled out a service cost calculator on its website. Applicable across Ford's entire product range, customers can calculate their service and maintenance costs by providing details such as fuel type, service interval, number of kilometres and other basic data pertaining to their vehicle. This will enable them to know the cost of periodic maintenance even before booking the service at a Ford dealership.

The cost calculator is bundled under the carmaker’s ‘Service Price Promise’ initiative aimed to enhance customer convenience.

The calculated quote will be valid for the same month, subject to change in taxes, the carmaker said in a release. The feature is valid for all Ford models including the recently launched compact sedan Figo Aspire and the Figo hatchback.

“With Ford's Service Price Promise, we are ensuring trust and surety than surprise for our customers when they walk into any Ford dealership for a standard service,” N Prabhu, vice president, Ford Customer Service Operations said in a statement.
