    Mahindra recently announced that deliveries for the Scorpio N will start from Dussehra this year, with the first 25,000 units, mostly of the top-end Z8 L variant, going home to customers by NovemberWe’ve now got our hands on the comprehensive waiting period list for the Scorpio N, which now pips the XUV700 as the SUV with highest waiting period in India.

    Mahindra Scorpio N waiting periods: September 2022

    Mahindra launched the Scorpio N in six variants with petrol and diesel engine options. Starting the range is the Scorpio N Z2, which comes with features like AC vents for the second row and LED tail-lamps. Priced from Rs 11.99 lakh-12.49 lakh, the Scorpio N Z2's waiting period currently stands at around 22 months for both petrol and diesel variants.

    Next up is the Scorpio N Z4, which also commands a waiting period of just under two years. This variant comes with features like an 8.0-inch touchscreen, cruise control and ESC, and is priced from Rs 13.49 lakh-16.49 lakh.

    Meanwhile, both the Scorpio Z6 and Z8 have waiting periods of two years. Features like sunroof, drive modes and connected car tech are standard on the Z6, while Z8 adds in equipment like leatherette interior, powered mirrors and curtain airbags. Prices for the Scorpio Z6 range from Rs 14.99 lakh-16.95 lakh, while the Z8 is priced from Rs 16.99 lakh-21.90 lakh.

    The top-spec Scorpio N Z8 L, as announced by Mahindra, has been given priority in deliveries, as it has a comparatively higher demand. The Scorpio N Z8L petrol and diesel variants command a waiting period of around 20 months, which is currently the lowest among the line-up.

    Scorpio N has higher waiting period than XUV700
