The Infiniti QX80 is a large, body-on-frame SUV. It’s based on the Nissan Patrol. The QX80 is only offered in left-hand drive and it’s sold in countries like the USA, Russia, China, and the Middle East. Infiniti launched the revised 2015 QX80 at the New York motor show.
Exterior highlights include a new front-end design that’s similar to the Q50 saloon and LED headlights; 20-inch wheels are standard, with a mammoth 22-inch setup available.
Trickle-down technology from the advanced Q50 includes high beam assist and Infiniti’s Predictive Forward Collision Warning (PFCW).
Power comes from a 5.6-litre V8 with 400bhp and 413lb ft of torque that’s hitched to a 7-speed automatic transmission. Four-wheel drive is optional.
The new QX80 Limited model adds an additional amount of luxury to the large SUV. The LED headlights receive a dark finish and the running boards gain additional lighting. Dark chrome is also added in various exterior locations. The standard 22-inch wheels feature a dark finish.
Inside, the QX80 Limited gets brown seats with unique quilting and silver piping. Leather continues onto the speaker grills and grab handles. Matte, open pore ash wood and an Ultrasuede leather headliner are also featured.
All QX80 Limited models come fully loaded and are all four-wheel drive. The only option is the choice of six exterior colors, three exclusive to the Limited model: Imperial Black, Mocha Almond, and Dakar Bronze.
