Nissan has added a new Sunshine Orange exterior colour and an all-black interior to its Micra range which includes the Micra Active. The Micra Active is currently available at a starting price of Rs 4.55 lakh, while the standard Micra CVT is priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, New Delhi). The new additions come at no extra cost.

The new all-black interior includes a black central console with piano black finish, black door trims, and black seat fabric with blue stitching. Additionally, the Micra Active variants will feature a black instrument panel cluster and finisher, black seat fabric and silver accents on the armrest. The addition of the paint shades mean that the hatchbacks are now available in six exterior colour options – Sunshine Orange, Brick Red, Turquoise Blue, Blade Silver, Onyx Black, and Storm White.

The Micra range remains mechanically unchanged and will come with the option of 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel powertrains.

The Sunshine Orange was a popular paint shade on the pre-facelift Micra in India. Nissan had discountinued this shade when the Micra recieved a mid-cycle refresh. By bringing back this colour opiton, Nissan is aiming at garnering more sales for the Micra during the upcoming festive season.

Nissan recently rejigged its entire model range for India. Read our comprehensive report here.
